Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

Infinity Polyrub, a leading manufacturer of Rubber Components for the Automotive Industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of quality management at our plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong background in quality control, process improvement, and a deep understanding of the automotive manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct

First Shot Inspection

on every machine on a daily basis and maintain record.

2. Perform

in-process inspections

at various stages of production to verify that the product meets specified quality standards.

3. Monitor

process parameters

such as temperature, pressure and time to ensure compliance with standards.

4. Ensure that

process control documents

such as work instructions, control plans, and quality standards are up-to-date and followed on the shop floor.

5. Conduct regular

process audits

to verify that all procedures are followed correctly and that manufacturing processes meet the specified standards.

6. Identify and manage

non-conforming products

during production. Ensure that they are quarantined, segregated, and not allowed to move forward in the production cycle.

7. Coordinate with production teams to perform

root cause analysis

of in-process non-conformances and implement

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

.

8. Track and report on

scrap rates

, working with production teams to reduce material waste through better process controls and quality measures.

9. Work closely with

production

and

maintenance teams

to resolve any quality issues identified during the production process.

Support the

PPAP

process by ensuring that all production processes are capable of consistently producing parts that meet customer specifications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Quality Management, etc.). Proven experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive manufacturing industry. Familiarity with equipment used in rubber component manufacturing.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
