Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to oversee and ensure the quality standards of our products in the jewelry/industrial sector. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures. Inspect raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Conduct regular audits and quality checks throughout the production cycle. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate quality documentation, reports, and records. Train staff on quality standards and best practices. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality of incoming materials. Investigate product defects and non-conformance and implement corrective actions. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the jewelry or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO, Six Sigma, or relevant industry standards). Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office. Relevant degree or diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with jewelry materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes (for Jewelry Industry). Understanding of testing methods, inspection tools, and quality control techniques. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
