Carry out review fieldwork, leading the process from planning to completion, including the assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of controls, review of significant large-scale and small-scale change implementation projects, issue management review, and performance of trend analysis.
Execute transaction data testing, including review of data fields and write up of work papers and findings for senior review.
Gather data and coordinate and review periodic attestation exercises.
Investigate issues arising from the TR processes and escalate to Managers where appropriate.
Produce Management Information and Key Performance Indicators on tasks performed.
Requirements
Candidates should have general market knowledge and understanding of financial products, how they are traded and end to end operational processes. Candidates with an understanding of Trade and Transaction Reporting regulations (MIFiD II, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC) and requirements would be at an advantage for the role.
Candidates should understand systems and controls within an investment bank. Candidates will be tasked at performing the review of controls, including the assessment of design and operating effectiveness of those controls. Prior experience in Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, or other Risk Management functions preferred.
Candidates will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people (cross border global teams).
Candidates should have the ability to produce Management Information and Key Performance Indicators on tasks performed. Candidates should ideally have basic knowledge of the creation and maintenance of Tableau dashboards and data analytics.
