Job Title : Quality Assistant - Facade & MS Structural Works

? (Roles & Responsibilities) :

The Quality Assistant supports the QA/QC Engineer in ensuring that Facade systems and MS (Mild Steel) structural

works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

?Key Responsibilities:

?Assist in inspection of facade works (curtain wall, glazing, cladding, louvers, aluminum panels, etc.).

?Assist in inspection of MS structural fabrication and erection (beams, columns, brackets, frames).

?Check materials delivered to site against approved material submittals.

?Verify work execution as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and ITPs.

?Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily quality reports.

?Report non-conformances (NCRs) to the QA/QC Engineer and help in follow-up actions.

?Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for quality-related issues.

?Assist during consultant/client inspections.

?Ensure proper surface preparation, welding quality, bolting, alignment, and finishing.

?Monitor compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.

?Support in maintaining quality documentation and handover dossiers.

?Job Requirements (Qualifications & Skills)

?Educational Qualification:

?Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

?1-3 years of experience in facade works and/or MS structural works.

?Freshers may be considered if they have relevant site exposure or training.

?Technical Skills:

?Basic knowledge of:

?Facade systems (curtain wall, glazing, ACP, aluminum works)

?MS structural fabrication and erection

?Welding inspection basics (visual inspection)

?Bolting, alignment, and leveling

?Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.

?Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and documentation.

?Basic knowledge of ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, and NCRs.

?Software Skills:

?Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PDF drawings.

?Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings is an advantage.

?Personal Skills:

?Good observation and attention to detail

?Good communication and coordination skills

?Willingness to work on site

?Ability to follow instructions and learn from seniors

?Team player with a responsible attitude

?Reporting To: QA/QC Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
