Job Description

A Planning and Quality Engineer in Civil Finishes is responsible for ensuring that all finishing works, such as tiling, painting, and door framing, are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They work closely with the project team to plan, coordinate, and execute these finishing activities, while also ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and construction methodologies.

Preparing quality reports and documentation:

Maintaining records of quality control activities and reporting any issues to the project team.

Collaborating with QA/QC teams:

Working closely with other QA/QC engineers to ensure that the overall project meets the required quality standards.

Ensuring compliance with international construction standards:

They need to be aware of and adhere to relevant industry standards and codes.

Coordination and Supervision:

Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors: Working with various subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of finishing works.

Providing technical guidance and support to the project team: Offering expertise and advice on finishing techniques and materials.

Checking daily progress reports and snag lists: Monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.

Implementing and maintaining safety protocols on-site: Ensuring that all finishing contractors comply with HSE guidelines
