Associate II - Engineering Design



Quality and Business Analytics Specialist



Role Proficiency:



Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to develop professional cost effective designs as a part of the team with support from Designer-III and Lead.



Outcomes:



Electricala. Development of 2D wire harness drawings conforming with customer requirements and industrial drafting standardsb. Use design of hardware fixation components such as brackets clips and mounting points using 3D modelling modulec. Development of wire harness routing designs in 3D which includes ensuring secure routing of harness to corresponding connectors d. Create and understand schematic drawings.

Mechanicala. Hydraulic Design: Design of hydraulic systems; selection of hydraulic components and fittings and hydraulic routings using Pro-E Wildfireb. Structural Design: Design of structural members castings and weld fabricationsc. Weld Design: Design of welding structural componentsd. Vehicle Integration and Assembly: Contribute to Mechanical or Electrical integration as a part of Vehicle integration and assemblye. FEA: Understand and apply Finite Element Analysis in Mechanical design


Measures of Outcomes:



Customer satisfaction - Based on feedback from customer

Adherence to SLAs where applicable

Number of defects post delivery

Number of non-compliance issues

Percentage of reduction reoccurrence of known defects

Document Management and Quality Assurance (40%): - Oversee the documentation and control of critical procedures to maintain system integrity. - Collaborate with quality management system (QMS) Champions and Administrators to ensure proper document control and compliance with standards. - Conduct QA checks for QMS documents, ensuring compliance with document control standards and providing feedback for improvements. 2. Training and Knowledge Management (10%): - Support the development and delivery of training programs related to document control and quality assurance processes. 3. Business Analytics, Stakeholder Management, and Email Follow-up (50%): - Analyze data from QA reviews to enhance process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. - Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on quality-related issues. Qualifications: - High level of proficiency in Excel and Tableau, with the ability to work independently on reports and data analysis. - Strong understanding of document management and quality assurance processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. - Engineering degree required. - 2-3 years of professional experience.
