Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to oversee the inspection and testing protocols for our plastic sheet production and color masterbatch blending. The ideal candidate will ensure that all finished products meet color accuracy, physical durability, and chemical consistency standards before reaching the customer.

?Key Responsibilities

?1. Color Matching & Consistency

?Perform color matching using Spectrophotometers and visual inspections to ensure masterbatches meet exact client specifications.

?Monitor "let-down" ratios to ensure the color remains consistent throughout long production runs of plastic sheets.

?2. Testing & Inspection

?Conduct physical tests on plastic sheets (e.g., tensile strength, impact resistance, thickness/gauge measurement, and surface finish).

?Test masterbatch samples for Melt Flow Index (MFI), moisture content, and dispersion quality.

?3. Process Control

?Supervise the Quality Control (QC) team on the shop floor across different shifts.

?Audit the production line to ensure raw materials (resins, pigments, additives) are being used correctly according to the batch sheet.

?4. Documentation & Compliance

?Maintain detailed logs of test results, COAs (Certificates of Analysis), and production samples.

?Implement and maintain ISO 9001 standards or other relevant quality management systems.

?5. Rejection & Root Cause Analysis

?Identify defects (e.g., color streaks, bubbles, warping) and stop production if quality standards are not met.

?Lead "Root Cause Analysis" for any batch failures and suggest corrective actions to the production team.

?Required Skills & Qualifications

?Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Plastic Technology (CIPET qualification is a plus).

?Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the plastics industry, specifically with Extrusion or Masterbatch manufacturing.

?Technical Skills: Proficiency in using lab equipment (Spectrophotometers, MFI testers, Weighing scales).
?Deep understanding of pigments, carriers, and thermoplastic resins (PE, PP, ABS, etc.).

?Software: Basic knowledge of MS Excel for data reporting.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
