The Quality Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring that all manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products meet the company's quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves identifying quality issues, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with ISO/industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
Conduct routine and random quality checks during manufacturing processes.
Maintain and update quality control documentation, inspection records, and reports.
Collaborate with production teams to identify process improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
Monitor calibration of measuring instruments and ensure accuracy in inspections.
Assist in root cause analysis of defects, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support in internal and external audits.
Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control processes.
Familiarity with ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools/software.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related field).
1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control in a manufacturing setup.
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Knowledge of statistical quality control methods is an advantage.
Work Conditions:
Plant/factory-based role with regular floor inspections.
May require shift work depending on production schedules.
Interaction with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, R&D, Supply Chain).
