Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Analyst / QA Engineer to own end-to-end quality for a React Native mobile application (Android & iOS) and a Node.js backend.

This role focuses on real-world failure scenarios, system reliability, and production stability, not just test execution.

We are looking for someone who can analyze complex systems, identify hidden risks, and prevent issues before they reach users.

Key Responsibilities

Own quality across mobile app and backend APIs Validate behavior across: Devices, OS versions, and environments Foreground, background, and terminated app states
Analyze requirements, user flows, and architecture to identify:

Risk areas Edge cases Failure-prone workflows Test under real-world conditions: Poor or unstable internet Network switching (WiFi to Mobile) High latency and partial failures
Ensure reliability of:

Real-time features (calls, chat, sockets) Asynchronous processes (retries, queues, delayed responses)

Validate backend quality:

API correctness Error handling, timeouts, retries Data integrity under concurrency and partial failures

Define and maintain:-

Test strategy and test plans Regression and automation approach Review production issues, logs, and monitoring data Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders Provide clear bug reports with reproduction steps, logs, and root-cause analysis

Required Skills & Experience

Strong QA experience for mobile applications Hands-on experience with React Native Experience testing Node.js / REST APIs Deep understanding of: Mobile app lifecycle Client-server communication Network failure scenarios Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, push, VoIP) Automation tools (Appium, Detox, Cypress, Postman/Newman) Performance, reliability, or production monitoring experience
