Job Description

Job Summary:



The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations in a fast-paced QSR environment. This role ensures consistent food quality, efficient service, strict food safety standards, and effective team management while meeting cost, speed, and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities:



Kitchen Operations



Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure fast, efficient, and high-quality food production Ensure all menu items are prepared consistently according to brand recipes and standards Maintain speed of service during peak hours without compromising quality

Team Leadership



Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff Schedule shifts and manage staff productivity Enforce discipline, hygiene, and professional conduct in the kitchen

Food Quality & Safety



Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards Monitor food storage, temperature control, and cleanliness Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products

Inventory & Cost Control



Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation Minimize waste and control food costs Coordinate with management on budgeting and cost optimization

Menu & Process Management



Implement new menu items and promotions as required Suggest improvements to recipes, preparation methods, or workflows Standardize kitchen procedures for consistency across shifts

Compliance & Reporting



Follow company policies, health regulations, and audit requirements Maintain kitchen records, checklists, and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Cook in a QSR or high-volume kitchen Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good organizational and time-management skills Basic inventory and cost-control knowledge
Preferred Qualifications

Culinary certification or relevant training Experience with branded QSR operations or multi-outlet kitchens Familiarity with POS-linked kitchen workflows

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
