Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor and

Draughtsman

to join our growing team. This dual-role position requires expertise in both technical drafting and cost estimation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed drawings and conducting accurate quantity take-offs, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.

Quantity Surveyor Duties:

Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ) from drawings and specifications Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment Assist in budget planning, tender preparation, and cost analysis Track project expenses and provide cost control recommendations Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site teams for cost tracking and verification Evaluate variations and prepare payment certificates and reports

Key Responsibilities:Draughtsman Duties:

Prepare detailed architectural and sanction drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software Convert sketches, site measurements, and specifications into technical drawings Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy Update drawings to reflect design changes and maintain drawing records Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project standards

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and construction methods 0-3 years of experience in quantity surveying and drafting Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects Familiarity with local construction codes and tendering procedures Ability to multitask and handle site-based and office-based responsibilities Strong communication skills to coordinate across departments
