Key Responsibilities (KRA)

BOQ Preparation:

Develop detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on architectural drawings and design intents.

Cost Estimation:

Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for all interior works, including false ceilings, flooring, joinery, painting, and lighting.

Rate Analysis:

Conduct thorough item-wise rate analysis by considering current market trends, labor costs, and material specifications.

MEP Integration:

Coordinate with MEP consultants to integrate electrical, HVAC, and fire-fighting costs into the overall project estimate.

Vendor Management:

Source quotes from vendors and subcontractors; perform comparative statements to ensure the best value without compromising quality.

Site Visits:

Conduct occasional site visits in Pune and nearby regions to verify site conditions and take actual measurements.

Tender Documentation:

Assist in the preparation and submission of technical and commercial tender documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

2 to 10 years of experience specifically in

Commercial Interior Projects

.

Education:

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency:

Expert-level skills in

MS Excel

(for complex calculations and data management).
Proficiency in

AutoCAD

for quantity take-offs.

Market Knowledge:

Strong understanding of interior materials (acoustics, modular systems, finishes) and prevailing market rates in the Pune region.

Analytical Mindset:

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in drawings or quotes.
