About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Data Quality / Data Engineering Analyst

to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across enterprise systems. This role focuses on automated data validation, system reconciliation, manufacturing traceability, and cost optimization within modern data platforms.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, query optimization) Intermediate Python (pandas, scripting, basic analysis) Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery Familiarity with dbt transformations and testing (or quick learner) Strong understanding of APIs and data integration patterns

Experience

2+ years in data quality, data engineering, or analytics roles Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) or WMS (Manhattan, Blue Yonder) Hands-on experience building automated data testing frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing or supply chain domain knowledge Exposure to blockchain data structures Experience with dbt-expectations or Great Expectations Dashboard tools: Grafana, Tableau, or similar Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Background in Quality Assurance or Six Sigma

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Validation

Monitor data freshness, completeness, and accuracy Build and maintain automated data tests using dbt and Python Validate transformations against golden datasets Ensure new deployments do not impact existing logic

System Reconciliation

Reconcile order, receipt, and shipment data across ERP, WMS, and data warehouse Investigate data mismatches and schema changes Maintain ID mapping tables Perform weekly blockchain data audits

Manufacturing Traceability

Validate end-to-end traceability from raw materials to finished goods Test BOM consumption logic and lot number propagation Conduct random traceability audits

Cost Management & Optimization

Monitor and optimize Snowflake query costs Implement resource monitors and query limits Identify and tune expensive queries Track costs by dbt model and user
