Job Summary

INFRA GREEN is looking for an experienced

QA / QC Engineer

to manage quality control activities in

PEB production (factory)

and

site erection works

. The candidate will ensure compliance with approved drawings, material standards, and quality procedures across projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesFactory / Production QA/QC

Inspect incoming raw materials as per BOM and Mill Test Certificates (MTC)

Monitor fabrication accuracy, welding quality, and dimensional tolerances

Conduct visual welding inspections and coordinate NDT if required

Check surface preparation, primer/paint application, and DFT thickness

Clear fabricated materials for dispatch after final inspection

Site QA/QC

Verify anchor bolt alignment, levels, and grid layout before erection

Monitor erection quality, column plumb, rafter alignment, and bolt tightening

Inspect roofing & cladding installation, fasteners, overlaps, and sealants

Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards

Documentation & Coordination

Prepare daily QC reports, inspection checklists, and NCRs

Coordinate with Design, Production, Site Engineers, and Project Head

Support client and consultant inspections

Maintain complete quality documentation till project handover

Requirements

Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

3-7 years of experience in

PEB / Structural Steel projects

Strong knowledge of:

IS 2062, IS 800 standards

Welding, painting, and erection quality checks

Ability to read GA & shop drawings

Willingness to travel to project sites
