Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in routine Quality Control activities for incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Conduct basic laboratory tests such as tensile strength, COF, GSM, OTR, WVTR, heat seal, and others as per standard testing procedures. Maintain proper documentation and data records for all quality checks and testing reports. Support quality team in process audits and internal inspections. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO, BRC, etc.). Monitor production quality and report any deviations from quality norms. Learn and implement 5S and other quality-related practices on the shop floor. Coordinate with production and R&D teams for quality feedback and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualification: B.Sc. (Chemistry) / CIPET / Diploma in Plastic Technology. 0-1 year of relevant experience in quality control, preferably in flexible packaging, plastic manufacturing, or polymer industry. Basic knowledge of quality testing instruments and procedures. Understanding of plastic materials, films, laminates, and their properties will be an added advantage. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Willingness to work in shifts and on the shop floor. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?17,000.00 per month
