POSITION OVERVIEW

QC Technician I report to the Quality Engineer.


Test and analyze the production batches to secure that the finished goods are in conformance with manufacturing specifications to minimize claims and achieve maximized customer satisfaction, keeping production efficiency

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Test and analyze the production batches as well as raw material to ensure that the finished goods are in conformance with H.B. Fuller specifications. Inform Quality Engineer/ Quality Manager regarding any failure related to sample and equipment to ensure all test results & equipment used in QC always be in good condition and ensure consistent results. Keep the working area tidy and clean to maintain safe and healthy working environment for smooth and efficient routine operation (5S and Housekeeping). Maintain the standard samples in systematic and proper manner to ensure product quality reference is available in good condition to enable consistent quality reference for quality control inspection during manufacturing of product. Maintain calibration status & record of equipment used in QC Lab. Record and document batch results and batch samples for future reference in SAP. Control non-conformities and customer complaint by raising internal quality Alert. Conduct test according to quality plan, specification and guideline for production sample on timely manner. Inform the production people about the failure of the product as soon as possible and raise NC for further investigation. Carry out immediate corrective action on any non-conformities on product quality during process of manufacturing. Perform SAP activities. Conduct surface preparation and adhesion strength testing (peel, shear, tensile). Maintain documentation of QC function according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14000:2015, IATF and company requirement and guideline. Support all activities on safety and health. Testing knowledge on instrument; Volumetric titrator metrohm, Gas Chromatography, FT-IR, Universal Testing Machine, K F titration, NIRS

Minium Requirement

5 + years' experience in relevant fields (Anaerobic, Poly urethane, Silicon, Flex Pack & MS/ STP) Adhesive testing. Able to work in shifts To work safely and ethically as per HBF guideline

Competencies:

Previous experience in Quality Management Good written and verbal communication skills (English). Excellent computer skills. Knowledge about good documentation Exposure in adhesives manufacturing and testing, preferred if any.

M.Sc. / B.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent
