Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product Inspection:

Examine jewellery pieces (gold, silver, diamond, gemstone, etc.) for defects, damages, or irregularities.

Ensure that every item meets the company's quality standards before final dispatch.

Measurement Verification:

Check product dimensions, weights, and purity (carat, hallmarking, etc.) as per design specifications.

Verify stone settings, soldering, polishing, and finishing accuracy.

Defect Identification & Reporting:

Identify issues like loose stones, scratches, color mismatch, or improper setting.

Record and report all defective items to the production or polishing department for correction.

Documentation & Record Keeping:

Maintain inspection logs, rejection reports, and quality records.

Ensure that each approved item is properly tagged and documented.

Coordination with Departments:

Work closely with designers, production, and finishing teams to ensure consistent quality.

Provide feedback to production on quality improvement areas.

Compliance & Safety:

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling and checking precious metals and stones.

Ensure all processes comply with company and BIS quality norms.

Final Approval:

Conduct final quality check before packaging and dispatch to ensure customer-ready condition.

Verify all pieces match the order specifications and finish requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

Suggest improvements in quality control processes.

Participate in internal audits and training sessions to maintain quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
