Perform quality testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished paints/wood coatings.
Conduct tests such as viscosity, density, shade matching, adhesion, gloss, drying time, opacity, hardness, stability, etc.
Maintain testing records, test certificates, and daily lab reports.
Inspect batches during production to ensure quality consistency.
Identify defects, deviations, and report non-conformities immediately.
Work closely with the production team to resolve quality issues.
Ensure all lab instruments are calibrated and functioning properly.
Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and follow all SOPs & quality guidelines.
Assist R&D team in sample development (if required).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Paint Technology or related field.
Hands-on experience in Paint & Wood Coating quality testing is mandatory.
Good understanding of paint properties, formulations, and standards.
Knowledge of lab equipment and testing methods.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced production environment.
