1. Position Summary

The QC Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. The role demands strong technical skills in measurement instruments, mechanical drawing interpretation, and documentation as per quality standards.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Quality Inspection & Monitoring

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final

inspection of mechanical parts.

Ability to interpret

engineering/mechanical drawings.

Strong knowledge of mechanical measurement tools such as,

Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Thread Gauge, Pressure Gauge

etc.. Record inspection results and ensure that

components meet required specifications

.

Identify defects

and coordinate with production for corrective actions. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance levels.

B. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain

QC reports, inspection sheets, calibration logs

, and related documents. Prepare daily QC summary and maintain traceability records. Support internal and external audits with correct documentation. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company SOPs.

C. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Supplier teams for quality-related issues. Communicate non-conformities and ensure timely closure of issues. Participate in quality review meetings. Verify dimensional accuracy and material quality. Support

root cause analysis

(RCA) for quality-related issues. Assist in implementing

corrective and preventive actions

(CAPA).

3. Skills & Competencies Required

Knowledge of ISO/quality systems (preferred). Good communication and reporting skills.

4. Work Timing : "Time: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM"

(Thursday-Tuesday)
