QC Manager- Fabrication

In this role you'll:
Be an expert in fabrication and guide employees and contractors
Performs activities necessary to drive quality improvement, assure regulatory compliance, reduce costs, and improve productivity
Work directly with and provide regular communication to the Director on day-day production status and production plan for the quarter.
Develop and maintain quality control record as per ISO standards.
Manage shop floor employees, contractors, and juniors.
Collaborate with the design department and QC department consistently to meet the production targets.
Proactively gather, analyze and report production data to upper management to support the growth plans.
Serve as a communication hub between key stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
Certificates or bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Similar)
10-15 years of relevant industrial experience
Basic understanding of power equipment, machinery, fabrication, and heat exchangers an asset
Knowledge of ISO standards, Kaizen, Six Sigma, lean management is a huge asset
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work on new software, MS office suite including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with ERP and CRM software is a huge asset.
Entrepreneurial, creative, analytic, assertive, articulate, competitive.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
10-20% travel within assigned territory
