Inspect and verify all incoming packaging materials (e.g., cartons, labels, films, containers, bottles, caps, etc.) against approved specifications and quality standards.
Check supplier documentation such as COA (Certificate of Analysis) and test reports.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, and report to the Quality Assurance or Procurement team.
In-Process Quality Checks
Conduct regular line inspections during packaging operations to ensure compliance with GMP and company quality standards.
Verify that the correct packaging components and batch details are used on the line.
Check parameters such as sealing strength, print quality, labeling accuracy, fill level, barcodes, and overall product presentation.
Monitor line clearance and hygiene before starting new batches.
Finished Product Inspection
Inspect finished packed goods for defects, labeling errors, or packaging damages before release.
Perform random sampling and maintain records of inspection results.
Ensure packaging meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain inspection records, QC checklists, and deviation reports accurately.
Prepare daily inspection reports and communicate non-conformance to relevant departments.
Assist in preparing Quality Control documentation for audits.
Audit coordination ISO(9001-2015) BRC audit.
Equipment Handling and Calibration
Ensure measuring and testing instruments (e.g., leak testers, micrometers, weighing scales) are calibrated and in good condition.
Report any equipment malfunction to the maintenance or QA department
