We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) to ensure the quality of fabric and garments throughout the production process. The role involves checking raw materials, monitoring production stages, and ensuring final products meet quality standards before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming fabric for quality parameters such as GSM, colour, shrinkage, and texture.
Identify defects like stains, holes, loose threads, colour variation, or printing issues.
Conduct quality checks during cutting, stitching, and finishing stages.
Ensure garments meet approved samples and size specifications.
Identify defective pieces and coordinate with the production team for rework or correction.
Check finishing quality, including ironing, folding, labelling, and packaging.
Perform final quality inspection before dispatch.
Maintain QC records and daily reports of defects and rejections.
Coordinate with vendors or internal teams to resolve quality issues.
Follow safety and hygiene standards on the production floor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in garment/textile quality control.
Knowledge of fabric inspection and garment measurements.
Basic understanding of production processes.
Good observation and reporting skills.
Ability to work closely with production teams.
