DIPLOMA MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (DME)

Key Responsibilities

Material Receipt & Verification

+ Inspect and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and project specifications.
+ Check for damage, quantity discrepancies, and proper documentation (e.g., MTCs, certificates).

Quality Compliance

+ Ensure materials comply with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO).
+ Review and validate Mill Test Certificates, third-party inspection reports, and traceability documents.

Documentation & Reporting

+ Prepare inspection reports, material receipt notes, and maintain accurate records in ERP/Material Management System.
+ Tag and label materials for identification and traceability.

Coordination

+ Liaise with procurement, logistics, QA/QC, and offshore teams for timely clearance and dispatch.
+ Coordinate with third-party inspectors and certification agencies when required.

Safety & Handling

+ Ensure safe unloading, storage, and handling of materials in compliance with HSE guidelines.
+ Verify proper preservation and storage conditions for sensitive equipment.
