Job Description

A QC Head (Quality Control Head) sets quality strategy, manages QMS, ensures compliance (GMP, ISO), leads the QC team, analyzes data for improvement, handles audits, validates methods, and oversees testing of raw materials to finished goods, requiring strong technical skills (HPLC, GC), leadership, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment, typically needing an engineering/science degree and extensive QA/QC experience. Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Systems:

Develop and implement quality assurance & control strategies, manage Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Team Leadership:

Manage QC staff, provide technical guidance, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards (ISO, GMP), and internal policies.

Analysis & Improvement:

Analyze quality data, identify improvement areas, and drive continuous quality enhancement.

Operations:

Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, manage lab instruments (HPLC, GC), and handle documentation.

Audits:

Lead internal/external audits and handle audit responses (CAPA).
Typical Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering,Science, or related technical field.

Experience:

Extensive experience in quality control/assurance roles.

Skills:

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation (GLP), and audit handling.

Tools:

Proficiency with QC tools like HPLC, GC, stability studies, QMS software.
