Job Description

Minimum

4-8 years

of experience in Quality Control for civil construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct

quality inspections

for all civil works including concreting, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing activities. Ensure all site activities comply with

approved drawings, specifications, IS codes, and company quality standards

. Prepare and maintain

Quality Checklists, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)

, method statements, and work procedures. Monitor and verify

material quality

delivered to the site; check test certificates and ensure materials meet project specifications. Coordinate with

Project Managers, Site Engineers, Contractors, and Consultants

for timely inspections and approvals. Identify

non-conformances

and issue NCRs; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Maintain

daily QC reports

, inspection records, and documentation as per standards. Conduct

quality audits

and site observations; highlight quality issues and recommend improvements. Ensure proper execution of

concrete mix design, cube tests, slump tests

, and other relevant testing procedures. Verify

waterproofing works

, concrete durability measures, and finishing quality. Ensure

safety and quality compliance

during execution of work. Support in

handing over

activities by ensuring all quality requirements and checklists are completed.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

civil construction standards

, IS codes, and quality control procedures. Hands-on experience in

residential/commercial building projects

. Ability to prepare quality documentation and reports. Knowledge of

material testing methods

(concrete, steel, aggregates, soil). Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and site inspection tools.
