Perform comprehensive functional, electrical, and performance testing of incoming and finished solar inverters (String, Hybrid, Central) according to established test plans and specifications.
Conduct visual and physical inspections to check for manufacturing defects, correct labeling, and proper assembly.
Perform routine sampling inspection of batches and conduct stress tests to evaluate long-term reliability.
Documentation & Reporting:
Document all testing results, inspection findings, and non-conformances accurately in QC reports and logs.
Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for failed units and communicate issues to the production and engineering teams.
Maintain and update QC records, test equipment calibration logs, and product quality history.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
Assist in the root cause analysis of quality failures and participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
Ensure all testing procedures comply with relevant standards (e.g., IEC, UL, grid codes) and internal Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines.
Monitor and maintain the calibration status of all QC test equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
1 to 2 years of professional experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Testing, or a relevant role, preferably within the Solar/Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, or related manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills:
Good understanding of Solar Inverter functionality, architecture (MPPT, DC/AC conversion), and safety features.
Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and load banks.
Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies like 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and 5S.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and product specifications.
