Job Summary:

The QC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production and installation process of interior design projects. The role involves implementing quality procedures, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and coordinating with design, production, and site teams to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures, checklists, and standards for interior design projects. Inspect raw materials, finishes, and furniture before production and installation. Conduct in-process and final inspections at the factory and project sites. Monitor installation work at client sites to ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and document quality issues, defects, and non-conformities; ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken. Coordinate with design, procurement, production, and site teams to resolve quality-related concerns. Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, industry standards, and company guidelines. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of quality control processes in interior design, furniture, and fit-out industry. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications. Knowledge of materials (wood, laminates, metal, glass, acrylic, etc.) and finishes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Attention to detail and high standards for quality. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and QC reporting tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control within the interior design / furniture / fit-out industry. Familiarity with ISO standards and QA/QC practices will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
