Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Research & Development

o Develop, optimize, and validate formulations for nutraceutical/functional food products.

o Conduct trials for new product development and improvement of existing products.

o Work on stability studies, analytical testing, and product performance evaluation.

Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.

Documentation & Reporting

o Prepare technical documents, SOPs, trial reports, and product dossiers.

o Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.

Support regulatory submissions with scientific data.

Team Support & Training

o Mentor, guide, and train junior chemists/trainees in lab practices and R&D methodologies.

Supervise day-to-day laboratory activities to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Collaboration & Coordination

o Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and quality control teams for successful scale-up of products.

Stay updated with scientific advancements, raw material innovations, and market trends.

Qualifications & Experience

M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceuticals, or related field.

5-6 years of R&D experience in nutraceuticals, food, or allied industries.

Strong knowledge of formulation techniques, analytical methods, and regulatory standards (FSSAI, FDA, etc.).

Hands-on lab experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, etc.).

Proven ability to independently manage R&D projects.

Skills Required

Strong scientific and analytical mindset.

Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Leadership skills with experience in mentoring juniors.

Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented approach.
