Key Responsibilities:
? Quality Testing: Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-
process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet required
specifications.
? Analytical Techniques: Utilize a variety of analytical techniques such as
HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, FTIR, titration, and others to assess the quality of
chemical products.
? Documentation: Accurately document all test results and maintain records in
compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GMP).
? Calibration & Maintenance: Ensure laboratory equipment is properly
calibrated and maintained according to standard operating procedures
(SOPs).
? Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and
company policies related to chemical handling and testing.
? Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot quality issues, working with the
production and R&D teams to find solutions and improve processes.
? Reporting: Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting
trends, issues, and potential areas for improvement.
? Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
within the QC department to enhance product quality and operational
efficiency.
? Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
production, R&D, and supply chain, to ensure quality objectives are met.
Qualifications:
? Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical
Engineering, or a related field.
? Experience: Minimum of years of experience 4-5 years in quality control or
analytical chemistry in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
? Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of analytical instruments such as
HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc. Strong understanding of chemical testing methods and
quality standards.
? Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and other relevant
regulatory requirements.
? Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
? Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to
effectively document and report findings.
? Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
? Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
