Job Description

A Quality Control (QC) Chemist is responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet strict safety and quality standards before they are released for use or sale.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Analysis:

Perform chemical, physical, and sometimes microbiological tests on materials using techniques like titration, chromatography (GC),

Compliance:

Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

and

Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

.

Documentation:

Maintain meticulous records of analysis, including lab notebooks and ; prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA).

Equipment Maintenance:

Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab instruments such as pH meters, balances, and sophisticated analytical systems.

Investigations:

Lead or participate in investigations for Out-of-Specification (OOS) or non-conforming results to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Method Development:

Assist in developing and validating new analytical methods to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.
