Job Description

We are a packaged natural mineral water manufacturing company with a production facility in Baijnath, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. We are looking to appoint a

Chemist / Microbiologist

for

in-house quality control and testing

, as mandated under FSSAI regulations for packaged drinking and natural mineral water plants.

Conduct routine

physico-chemical and microbiological testing

of raw water, treated water, and finished product Ensure compliance with

FSSAI standards

for packaged natural mineral water Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly

quality control records and registers

Carry out testing for parameters such as pH, TDS, turbidity, hardness, alkalinity, and microbiological indicators Monitor sanitation, hygiene, and GMP practices within the plant Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to address quality deviations Support audits and inspections by

FSSAI, BIS, and other regulatory authorities

Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment Assist in implementation and monitoring of

HACCP / food safety systems

What We Are Looking For

B.Sc./M.Sc. in

Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Food Science

Experience in

packaged drinking water or mineral water plant

preferred Knowledge of

FSSAI regulations and in-house testing requirements

Familiarity with laboratory documentation and compliance reporting Willingness to work at plant location and follow shift schedules, if required

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
