Position Summary

The Audio QC Engineer is responsible for performing audio quality checks and delivering files as per client specifications. This role requires a highly motivated individual with a keen ear for identifying audio anomalies and strong expertise in audio localization, dubbing, and quality control for OTT and home entertainment content.

Outcomes and Accomplishments

As an Audio QC Engineer, you will:

Perform audio conforms and quality checks on Stereo, 5.1 Surround, and Dolby Atmos mixes. Identify audio anomalies and either resolve issues or report them to the mixing team. Ensure assigned tasks are completed within timelines and accurately updated in work trackers. Maintain audio equipment to ensure optimal functionality with minimal downtime. Collaborate effectively within the team to achieve departmental goals. Participate in ongoing training and upskilling programs as required. Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills. Stay focused and perform effectively under pressure. Be flexible to work across all shifts and workweeks based on business requirements.

What You Bring

Strong working knowledge of

Avid Pro Tools software and hardware

, including Avid control surfaces. Solid understanding of post-production audio workflows for OTT and home entertainment content, aligned with client specifications. In-depth technical knowledge of digital audio concepts, including sample rates, bit depth, SMPTE timecode, synchronization, video sync, and familiarity with various video codecs. Ability to interpret and deliver on client requirements with precision. Working knowledge of signal flow and strong troubleshooting skills. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality output within tight timelines. Openness to adopting new technologies, tools, and processes in line with evolving market trends. Excellent technical proficiency in

Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace (G-Suite)
