Key Responsibilities

Raw Material Quality

Check quality of cotton, waste, and other raw materials before feeding into production. Identify contamination and inform concerned departments for corrective action.

Process Quality Control

Monitor blow room, carding, drawing, and OE spinning process parameters. Ensure machine settings are maintained as per quality norms. Conduct routine checks for sliver/yarn evenness, strength, and defects.

Yarn Quality Inspection

Test OE yarn for count, CSP, strength, elongation, U%, IPI, hairiness, and imperfections. Ensure proper cone formation, winding quality, and package weight.

Defect Identification & Control

Identify yarn defects such as thick & thin places, neps, contamination, weak yarn, and shade variation. Suggest corrective and preventive actions to production teams.

Testing & Documentation

Operate and maintain testing instruments (Uster, wrap reel, lea strength tester, etc.). Maintain quality records, test reports, and shift-wise quality data.

Customer & Dispatch Quality

Ensure yarn meets customer specifications before dispatch. Support packing, labeling, and lot-wise traceability.

Coordination & Training

Coordinate with production, maintenance, and stores departments. Train machine operators and helpers on quality awareness and defect prevention.

Compliance & Safety

Follow quality standards, SOPs, safety norms, and company policies. Support audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of OE spinning process Yarn testing and quality standards Defect analysis and problem-solving Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports) Good communication and coordination skills
Qualification

Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or relevant experience in OE spinning
Experience

2-5 years of experience in OE Textile Mill QC (can be modified as per requirement)
Working Conditions

Shift-based work Factory shop floor and lab environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
