at Dahej, where your expertise in

mechanical and welding inspections

will ensure top-quality execution. This long-term assignment (6-9 months) offers an excellent opportunity to work on significant industrial development projects while enhancing your technical skills and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications, drawings, datasheets, and codes before work execution. Conduct inspections of

mechanical fabrication, equipment installation, and piping assembly

. Verify

material receiving inspections, MTCs

, and maintain material traceability. Witness

hydrostatic, pneumatic, leak, and operational tests

as per ITP standards. Ensure calibration validity of all tools and instruments used during inspections. Monitor construction activities for compliance with

ASME, API, ASTM, and project standards

. Identify and document non-conformities; raise NCRs and ensure corrective actions. Inspect installation of

static and rotating equipment

, including alignment and grouting. Prepare detailed

inspection reports

and assist in final dossier handover.

Required Skills:

Experience in

construction, fabrication, or plant maintenance QA/QC

Knowledge of

ASME Sec VIII, B31.3, and API standards

Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills Familiarity with

Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)

and QA/QC procedures

Qualifications:

Diploma / Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

6-8 years of experience

in QA/QC for fabrication or construction projects

Mandatory Certificate:

ASNT NDT Level II
