Job Description

Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished product for product approval and release. Responsible for complete quality related activities in the plant. Physical, Chemical & Microbiological testing. Communicate potential compliance issues or problems. Responsible for customer satisfaction through implementing high quality standards in the product and the process. Responsible for Quality Control and other control activities in the factories and material. Responsible for checking raw material used in production, packaging material and in process material- accept or reject as per set quality standards. Involved in development of quality assurance procedures for Unit processes. Initiate the development of quality systems and communication to all the individuals and departments about the new system. Responsible for approval of the RM & PM. Internal training for key employees as per SOP. Conduct internal audit as per plan. Initiate the process of Audit for all procedures and systems. Skills & Competencies Experience in Lab and exposure of handling food / beverage products. Self Motivated Knowledge of Food Laws & Compliance Knowledge of Food Micro, Food Chemistry Thorough knowledge of working with MS Office. Check and improve safety and quality control procedures from the raw material stage through to the finished product. Candidates should be conversant with the latest laboratory instruments. Collaborate with management and line production staff to achieve most efficient and accurate quality assessments. Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data.

Qualification & Skills Required:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Organic Chemistry Experience: Work experience of min. 1-2 years preferred, preferably with a beverage manufacturing company. Capable to Conduct All Micro related Testing independently. Responsible for preparing all necessary reports for Head Quality. Sampling and testing of in-process and finished product. Responsible for analysis of FG, RM and PM as prescribed specification. Ensure all the work is performed and the document accurately complies as internal process and regulatory requirements.
