Job Description

(Roles & Responsibilities):

Develop, implement, and maintain

quality standards and SOPs

for semi-precious and precious gemstones Ensure quality control at all stages of manufacturing including

Taiyari, Cutting, Polishing, Assorting, and Ready Goods

Inspect gemstones for

cut, color, clarity, shape, finish, PCS, and CTS

as per defined standards Supervise and guide QC and Assorting teams to maintain consistency and accuracy Use

eye-glass assorting and loupe handling

techniques for detailed quality inspection Identify quality defects, rejections, and root causes; take corrective and preventive actions Coordinate with

Production, PPC, NPD, and Stock

departments to resolve quality-related issues Monitor rejection rates, rework, and yield loss; work on continuous quality improvement Prepare and review

daily, weekly, and monthly QC reports

for management Ensure proper documentation for quality checks, audits, and customer requirements Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance Train team members on quality standards, grading, and inspection techniques

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

semi-precious and precious gemstones

Expertise in

eye-glass assorting and loupe handling

In-depth understanding of gemstone grading parameters Knowledge of

PCS/CTS control and inventory accuracy

Good analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Experience:

5-10 years

of experience in QA/QC within gemstone manufacturing Prior experience in handling QC teams is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
