About the Role



We are seeking an experienced

QA/QC Manager

to join our team and drive quality assurance and control across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust QA/QC systems, conduct internal audits, manage non-conformance, and ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and ISO standards. This role is critical to achieving

zero-defect handover

and minimizing rework through proactive quality interventions.

Key Responsibilities



1. Quality Management System (QMS)



Implement project-specific Quality Assurance Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) Develop and enforce quality control checklists and procedures Maintain quality documentation for audits and compliance

2. Material Quality Control



Review and approve material submittals Coordinate with labs for testing of materials like concrete, steel, cement, tiles, etc. Maintain records of MTCs, MIRs, and rejection logs

3. Work Execution Monitoring



Conduct daily inspections of all civil and MEP works Issue and track Site Observation Reports and ensure resolution Validate contractor work through inspections and checklists

4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions



Identify and report defects via NCRs Perform Root Cause Analysis and track corrective actions Maintain logs and escalate high-risk issues

5. Internal Quality Audits



Lead monthly audits, identify improvement areas, and support ISO/Client audits Provide training and feedback to teams and contractors

6. Stakeholder Coordination



Collaborate with architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors Attend project meetings to report on quality Enforce and communicate quality standards across all levels

7. QA/QC Team Leadership



Supervise QA/QC engineers, document controllers, and inspectors Drive inspections and cross-checks Conduct quality training and awareness programs

8. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain quality logs: MIRs, RFIs, WIRs, NCRs, and dashboards Submit weekly/monthly reports and final DLP documentation

9. Regulatory & Code Compliance



Ensure adherence to NBC, IS Codes, CPWD, and local authority norms Assist with RERA/IGBC/GRIHA documentation and approvals

10. Rework Prevention & Defect Reduction



Identify early signs of quality issues Conduct Root Cause Analysis and integrate into SOPs Promote a zero-defect culture across project teams

Qualifications



B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Postgraduate in Construction/Quality preferred) Minimum 8 years' experience in QA/QC across real estate, commercial, or infrastructure projects

Key Skills & Competencies



Technical:



Civil engineering practices, waterproofing, MEP QC, ISO 9001, NBC, ITPs, QA documentation

Software:



MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP/Primavera, Quality Management Systems

Soft Skills:



Leadership, communication, analytical thinking, decision-making, team management

Other Traits:



Attention to detail, assertiveness, integrity, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
