Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Microbiological Testing & Analysis



Conduct routine

microbiological testing

of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, air, and swabs Perform tests such as

TPC, Yeast & Mold, Coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus

, etc. Monitor

environmental hygiene

and sanitation effectiveness Ensure compliance with

FSSAI, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP

requirements

Quality Control & Assurance



Ensure implementation and maintenance of

GMP, GHP, and hygiene practices

across production areas Verify CCPs and OPRPs related to microbiological safety Review microbiological trends and recommend corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Handle

product hold, release, and disposition decisions

based on microbiological results

Documentation & Compliance



Maintain accurate records of

microbiological testing, calibration, and validation

Prepare and review

SOPs, test methods, and microbiology manuals

Support

internal, external, and regulatory audits

Ensure proper traceability and compliance documentation

Hygiene & Sanitation Monitoring



Conduct

cleaning and sanitation verification

Monitor pest control effectiveness in coordination with service providers Verify personal hygiene, gowning practices, and sanitation schedules

Coordination & Training



Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D teams for quality improvements Train production staff on

microbial hazards, hygiene, and food safety awareness

Support

new product trials

and shelf-life studies

Educational Qualification:



M.Sc / B.Sc

in Microbiology Biotechnology or equivalent life science discipline

Experience Required:



2 to 5 years

of relevant experience in

Snack Food & Beverages industries

Experience in

fried snacks, extruded snacks, bakery, or confectionery

preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of

food microbiology and pathogen control

Hands-on experience with

laboratory instruments and methods

Understanding of

food safety regulations and audit requirements

Analytical, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work in

manufacturing and shift environments


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
