Roles and Responsibilities

Implement and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures. Inspect incoming raw materials, fabricated components, and erection activities to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and specifications. Conduct dimensional inspections, weld quality checks (visual and NDT coordination), bolt tightening, painting/coating checks, and alignment of structural elements. Prepare and maintain detailed quality records, reports, and inspection documentation (IRs, WPS/PQR, MTCs, etc.). Coordinate with the engineering, production, and erection teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, AWS, ASTM, AISC). Assist in third-party inspections and client audits. Train site teams and subcontractors on quality protocols and best practices. Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Promote a quality-first mindset across site and plant teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Productiobn/Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

1 - 3 years of relevant experience in QC for PEB fabrication and erection.

Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with fabrication processes, welding, bolting, and PEB erection techniques. Knowledge of QA/QC documentation and standards (WPS, PQR, NDT). Strong understanding of ISO 9001 QMS and related procedures. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure
