Key Responsibilities:
Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Engineer
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will execute quality checks and ensure compliance with industry standards across our manufacturing processes. This position requires a proactive individual who is willing to perform frequent site visits across India to assess and enhance our quality control measures.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
Develop and implement quality control testing protocols, and carry out inspections on various project sites throughout India.
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and drive effective corrective actions.
Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including detailed inspection reports, quality plans, and standard operating procedures.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, defects, and opportunities for continuous improvement in processes.
Work with external partners and suppliers to verify the quality of raw materials and components used in our manufacturing operations.
Participate in project meetings, providing insight on quality-related issues and being actively involved in project planning and execution.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross- functional teams.
Willingness to undertake frequent pan-India travel for site visits and inspections.
