Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance (QA)

Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS)*.

Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Procedures*.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards(e.g., ISO 9001).
Conduct internal quality auditsand ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
2. Quality Control (QC)

Perform material inspection, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing (NDT)as required.
Review and approve vendor documents, material test certificates (MTCs), and welding procedures*.

Monitor site activities to ensure work conforms to approved drawings and specifications.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, punch lists, and quality records*.

Witness tests and inspections at various project stages (e.g., concrete pouring, welding, coating, etc.).

3. Required Skills

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications*.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, API, ASME, or ASTMstandards (depending on the industry).
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and reporting systems*.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and leadership skills for coordinating between teams.
4. Educational Background

Bachelor's degreein:
Mechanical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
(depending on the project type)

QA/QC certifications (optional but valuable):
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor*

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)*

CSWIP / AWS(for welding inspection)
NDT Level II or III*
