Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming material inspection and final product inspection as per SOP and ISO standards
Verify raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure they meet required quality specifications
Conduct visual, dimensional, and technical inspection to detect defects early (Casting defects like blow holes, forging cracks, machining defects, GD&T issues, painting defects, etc.)
Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Slip Gauge, and Comparative Gauges
Read and interpret technical drawings with basic GD&T knowledge to conduct accurate inspections
Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Coordinate with production, vendor, and internal teams to resolve quality concerns
Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and industry standards
Required Skills:
Quality Inspection & QA/QC Procedures
GD&T & Technical Drawing Reading
Knowledge of Inspection Tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.)
Calibration & Measurement Techniques
Visual Inspection for Casting/Forging/Machining Defects
Documentation & Report Preparation
Problem Solving & Attention to Detail
Team Coordination & Communication Skills
Understanding of ISO Standards
