Job Description

1. Quality Assurance (QA):

Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance plans and procedures. Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes. Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to quality standards. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors regarding quality matters.

2. Quality Control (QC):

Inspect and monitor construction activities (civil, structural, finishing, MEP as applicable). Review and approve material tests, third-party reports, and inspection reports. Perform site inspections and address non-conformance issues. Verify workmanship and material quality before approval.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents such as ITPs, checklists, NCRs, MIRs, WIRs, and method statements. Maintain daily inspection reports and update quality records. Ensure proper documentation and filing for audits and client verification.

4. Testing & Verification:

Monitor laboratory tests (concrete, soil, steel, aggregates, etc.) as per project requirements. Verify calibration of tools, instruments, and testing equipment. Ensure testing is conducted as per IS codes and project standards.

5. Coordination & Communication:

Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues. Attend site meetings and present quality updates. Assist in training site teams on QA/QC procedures for better compliance.

6. Non-Conformance Management (NCR):

Identify and document non-conformities in materials or workmanship. Recommend corrective and preventive actions. Follow up on closure of NCRs and ensure compliance.

7. Continuous Improvement:

Suggest improvements to enhance work quality and reduce rework. Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
