Ensure that the construction methodology adopted on-site strictly complies with the design specifications.
2. Inspections & Audits
Perform quality control inspections
and site audits at various stages of construction (excavation, reinforcement, concreting, etc.) to verify compliance.
Conduct regular site walkthroughs
to identify potential quality issues or non-conformances early and propose immediate corrective actions.
3. Material Quality Control
Monitor the use of materials
and resources to ensure they meet the required project specifications and approved makes.
Prepare quality reports for all MIRs
(Material Inspection Requests) to verify that incoming materials are tested and approved before use.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation
, including inspection reports, test results (concrete cubes, soil compaction, etc.), and non-conformity reports (NCR).
Track and document all
corrective actions
taken to resolve non-conformities, ensuring closure of all quality issues.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of IS Codes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
proficiency in documentation and MS Excel.
Experience handling client inspections and audits.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum
3 years
of experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.
Sector Preference:
Experience in
Refinery, Petrochemical, or Industrial
projects is highly preferred.
