Job Summary:
The Electrical Utility QA/QC Analyst is responsible for reviewing and verifying
completed work orders for electrical and civil utility projects. This role ensures
that all required documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with
customer guidelines. The QA/QC Analyst plays a key role in maintaining quality
standards by cross-checking field notes, photos, and job packets against the
work order instructions.
Responsibilities:
Review completed work order packets to ensure all required documentation is
included, accurate, and follows customer guidelines.
Verify that photos, field notes, and job documents align with the work described in
the customer's work order.
Identify discrepancies between documented work and customer instructions (e.g.,
mismatched pole numbers, incorrect work type, missing photos).
Clearly document and report any discrepancies with detailed notes (e.g., "Photo
3-221 shows cross arm change on Pole TD25647; work order is for fuse replacement
on Pole TD26651").
Communicate findings clearly and professionally with internal teams and customers
when required.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of job documents before submission.
Maintain high attention to detail while working with multiple files, documents, and
photos.
Use tools such as Adobe, Excel, and photo libraries to organize and validate
documentation.
Required Documentation (to be reviewed and verified)
Work Order - Customer-issued instructions specifying the task (e.g., pole replacement, fuse
change).
Field Notes - Notes from construction crews providing details of the work performed.
Photographic Evidence - Before, during, and after photos of completed work.
Material/Equipment Records - Documentation of parts, materials, or equipment used.
Completion Report/Checklist - Final confirmation that the work order is fully executed.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to clearly report discrepancies and
interact with stakeholders.
High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders simultaneously.
Ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in documentation.
Proficiency in (Adobe, Excel, MS Office, photo library tools).
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Prior experience in QA/QC, utilities, construction, or related fields is a plus.
Working hours 9 am - 5 pm PT (9.30 pm - 5.30 am IST)
