This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time. Overall, the Senior Manager will partner with US-based counterparts in managing offshore deliverables and shaping the testing strategy for the organization.Roles & ResponsibilitiesCoordinates the work of project teams along multiple workstreams like data partners, integrated system, external vendors, etc.Oversees multiple concurrent projects, manage timelines, resources and deliverables.Provides supervision and development opportunities for our associates by mentoring, building a team-based work environment, and coaching for success and improvementCrafts automated tests to meet speed to market goal ensuring qualityTroubleshoots and optimizes automated tests and supporting artifacts to execute automatically in CI/CD pipelines, reduce cycle timeEscalates risk and issues timeously to enable the effective planning and communication to stakeholdersResponsible for identifying, documenting, and effectively resolving defects through meticulous reporting and trackingAdheres to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices while helping to drive changes to our testing practices where necessaryQualificationsRequired Experience & Education:Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in computer science or information technology or related fields13 to 16 years of experience leading testing teams.A proven track record in successfully testing and ensuring the quality of web and mobile applicationsProficient in conducting thorough business requirements analysis, designing efficient test automation suites, and diligently logging and tracking defects throughout the testing processExpertise in applying agile methodologies and principles to software testing, ensuring efficient and effective testing practices throughout the development lifecycleA strong foundation and practical experience in programming languages are essential, with a particular emphasis on JavaScript or TypeScript which are highly preferredProven experience in automating Web UI and API testing using Cypress, ensuring robust and reliable test coverage for both front-end and back-end functionalitiesGood experience in Mobile Automation using WebdriverIO across various mobile testing platforms and devicesDemonstrated proficiency in utilizing test management tools such as Jira to effectively plan, track, and manage testing activities, ensuring seamless collaboration, and streamlined workflowsGood experience in Git based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, BitbucketExperience with SQL and database/backend testingHands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUIDesired Experience:Healthcare domain knowledgeExperience managing both web and mobile testing teamsAutomation testing experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProcess oriented, highly organized, self-motivated and a quick learnerFlexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessaryEqual Opportunity StatementEvernorth is an Equal Opportunity Employer actively encouraging and supporting organization-wide involvement of staff in diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to educate, inform and advance both internal practices and external work with diverse client populations.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
