QA Internship About The Internship Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include: Work closely with the engineering and service delivery team to address production defects Assist in testing internal defects, production defects, enhancements, and new features Help the team in ensuring that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements Help in designing and executing test cases Create logs to document testing phases and defects Report bugs and errors to development teams Our quality assurance interns work as part of our QA teams and help plan testing efforts, execute test scripts, help with install testing, software and web testing. The quality assurance interns participate in all phases of a project, from user story review, test design, demos to final system testing and launch. Work as part of agile teams, must be a self-starter, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. Quality Assurance interns are mentored and monitored by a Quality Assurance Lead Engineer. Requirements Should be responsible for the quality of the deliverables and the overall product Should be able to communicate effectively with all the stakeholders of the product Attention to detail is important. Basic knowledge of testing software is required Ability to test software and features or behavior is desirable, but not required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE . Must be currently enrolled in a 4 year Bachelors program. Preferably Computer Science or Mathematics or Electrical/Computer Engineering majors. Grade point average of 3.0 or above. Able to work 40 hours a week
