Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester Intern to join our team at Don-Clem Technology. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the testing of web, mobile, and software applications to ensure high quality, functionality, and performance. This internship will provide hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle, testing processes, and exposure to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, designing, and executing test cases for software applications. Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in applications. Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to resolve issues. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing as required. Support automation testing initiatives where possible. Review user requirements and prepare test documentation. Provide feedback on usability, user experience, and potential system improvements. Participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and team discussions.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of software testing principles, methods, and tools. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology. Understanding of bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues). Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is an added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
