: QA Tester - Automation (2-3 Years of Experience with Selenium)

Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Tester with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, specializing in automation testing with Selenium. Key Responsibilities:

Automation Testing:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, or other relevant automation tools.

Test Case Design:

Create, enhance, and execute detailed and reusable test cases and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate efficient regression testing and ensure automated test execution as part of the software delivery process.

Defect Management:

Identify, document, and manage defects with clear and detailed descriptions, collaborating closely with development teams to facilitate their timely resolution.

Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing:

Conduct thorough cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure the compatibility of applications across various environments.

Performance Testing:

Participate in performance and load testing activities to identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues.

Regression Testing:

Lead regression testing efforts to ensure that code changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.

Test Data Management:

Manage and create test data sets necessary for automated testing.

Reporting:

Provide comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, including test results, coverage, defect status, and recommendations.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, automation frameworks, and best practices.

Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA team members, to address issues, clarify requirements, and ensure the highest level of quality.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to the enhancement of automation testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation testing and Selenium expertise. Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, or other relevant programming languages. Solid understanding of automation testing best practices, methodologies, and tools (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.). Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus. Relevant certifications in software testing or Selenium are advantageous.
