Testing and inspection: Conduct tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications using measuring instruments and various testing equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all inspections and tests, document any defects or discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for management and other stakeholders.
Collaboration and communication: Work with production, sales and other teams to resolve quality issues and implement solutions.
Process Improvement: Analyze test data to identify root causes of defects and make recommendations for improving the quality of products.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree (B/Tech., B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering.
> 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive / railway industry.
Thorough understanding of ISO QMS requirements and quality management principles.
